| Sep 29, 2024 | Memorial oration: The first Dr. B. Jagannath Kamath Memorial Oration was held at KMC Mangalore, organised by the Canara Orthopaedic Society and the Department of Orthopaedics. Prof. M. Shantharam Shetty gave the oration, and Dr. B. Unnikrishnan, Dean of KMC Mangalore, was chief guest. | Jul 02, 2024 | Patent grant: The Patent Office, Government of India, granted a patent for the ulnar neuropathy device developed by KMC Mangalore and NITK Surathkal.
